NAI Carolantic Realty appointed to sell the NC Bar Association Building in Downtown Raleigh

Raleigh, NC - September 1, 2011 - The North Carolina Bar Association has recently selected NAI Carolantic Realty to handle the sale of their office building located at 208 Fayetteville Street in Downtown Raleigh. This prominent 28,652 square foot Class A building was built in 1935, and then remodeled in 1999 by Clearscapes. The three-story building has a full size basement, a passenger elevator and two sets of stairs.

According to Robin Roseberry Anders, SIOR, the listing broker with NAI Carolantic, the building has many unique features. "Anyone who has entered this building is aware of the very dramatic lobby. The original hardwood maple floors can be seen throughout the space, and there are unique lighting design frames providing a very bright interior. Nine foot ceilings are standard with higher ceilings in the conference and lobby areas," said Anders. "We believe there will be strong interest in the building due to the recent announcement of Red Hat moving to Downtown."

The NC Bar Association will be vacating the building in late 2012 or early 2013. The building is on the market for $2,865,000.
