Experience:
When Mr. Everett joined Carolantic in 2001, he brought with him more than ten years of commercial banking experience. Since that time, he has acquired six years of experience as a member of the Raleigh Planning Commission. This combination enables Mr. Everett to go that extra mile in assisting his clients in a variety of unique situations such as zoning, entitlement processes, financial analysis and 1031 tax free exchange opportunities. Mr. Everett is a team member of the Special Assets Division at NAI Carolantic which was established to assist clients with troubled assets.

- BB&T: Part of the NAI Carolantic team assisting BB&T in the disposition of REO properties.
- Wachovia Real Estate Trust Services: Handled the sale of Hillsborough Place, a 107,000sf Class A multi-tenant office building located in Downtown Raleigh, NC.
- 3808 Six Forks Road Associates, LLC: Represented the owners in the sale of a 53,000sf former call center for a financial institution to use as an operations center and branch location in Raleigh, NC.
- Brick By Brick Too, LLC: Handled site acquisition for the development of a Primrose School daycare facility in Raleigh, NC.
- M&M Equity Investments, LLC: Handled site acquisition for the development of an owner occupied medical office building in Raleigh, NC.
- SunTrust Bank: Handled the disposition of commercial land in the Bank's REO portfolio in Raleigh, NC.

- PBS Real Estate, LLC: Represented client in the purchase of a 65,000sf warehouse/office building for corporate offices, warehouse/distribution for a building supply company in Morrisville, NC.
- Congregational Development Fund, Inc: Handled the sale of 19.12 acres of land held for investment to Wake County Board of Education.
- Bank of North Carolina: Represented client in the purchase of a bank branch building in Raleigh, NC
- St. Lawrence Homes, Inc.: Handled the sale of 143.26 acres to Wake County Board of Education.

Triangle Commercial Association of Realtors (TCAR): An organization of licensed commercial real estate brokers, enabling members to advance their education and knowledge of issues impacting commercial real estate on local, state and national levels.
Community Involvement:
City of Raleigh Planning Commission: Mr. Everett was a member of the Commission from 2001 through June of 2007. He served as Chairman of the Commission from June of 2005 through June of 2006.
Raleigh Civitan Club: Active Member
Ducks Unlimited: Ducks Unlimited supports wetlands conservation efforts. Mr. Everett is a Raleigh Chapter committee member and Life Sponsor.
Step-Up Ministry: Mr. Everett served as Board Chairman from 2003 – 2004.
Interact: Mr. Everett served as Board Chairman from 2001 – 2002.
