Experience:

Mr. Marquardt came to NAI Carolantic after founding The Marquardt Group, a real estate acquisition, development and management company of which Mr. Marquardt is still president. Mr. Marquardt became interested in the Triangle commercial real estate market while working with IBM as a site mechanical engineer at their RTP campus and then later when he interned with NAI Carolantic during his 2005 summer break from UNC's MBA program at Kenan-Flagler Business School in Chapel Hill. As a mechanical engineer and a proven real estate broker, Mr. Marquardt brings a unique combination of training and experience to his position with NAI Carolantic.

He currently specializes in land and general commercial brokerage.

Habitat for Humanity: Assists the Land Acquisition Committee in identifying and purchasing land for Habitat of Wake County.

Meals on Wheels: Delivers nutritious meals to the homebound elderly and persons with disabilities in Wake County in an effort to improve health, reduce isolation, and prevent inappropriate institutionalization.

Education:

Mr. Marquardt received a Master of Business Administration from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at UNC in Chapel Hill. In 2000, he received a Bachelor of Science, Mechanical Engineering degree from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana.
